• The lotteries freiheit+ and Deutsche Traumhauslotterie generate record sums for good causes
• 250 charitable projects supported so far
• 100% of the funding goes to national and international educational projects

Hamburg, 18 April 2023. Since the start of their cooperation in 2020, ZEAL and BildungsChancen have already diverted almost EUR 15 million to civil society causes with their joint lottery products. In the process, the market leader for online lotteries and the promoter of educational projects have already supported 250 charitable projects.

Two lotteries for a good cause
ZEAL and BildungsChancen jointly operate the lotteries freiheit+ and Deutsche Traumhauslotterie, in which fixed sums are donated to selected educational organizations for each ticket. A total of 80 percent of the funding went to selected educational projects run by the shareholders of BildungsChancen, namely Stifterverband, SOS Kinderdörfer weltweit and Deutsche Kinder- und Jugendstiftung. A further 20 percent of the funding went to independent sponsors. A board of trustees decides on the allocation of funds three times a year.

Doing good together
